UNSEEN THAILAND TOURS THAT HELP SUPPORT RURAL EDUCATION

OUR GOAL
IS SIMPLE

At Teach & Tour, we believe that every child deserves access to a quality education. We are committed to enhancing rural education in Thailand by providing an innovative curriculum designed from the region's natural environment. We work in partnership with Chiew Kuang Private Charity School to teach local children using the natural resources of Prachuap Khiri Khan, such as beaches, estuaries, hills, and jungles. Our volunteers focus on supporting teachers in subjects like English, Math, and Science.

A 10 day Thai Teach & Tour

Day 1 Arrival

Volunteers from around the world meet in Bangkok for a friendly welcome evening at the hotel. Enjoy open conversations and get to know our team. Airport pick-up options are available.

Day 2 - Bangkok Tour

Start your day with breakfast and an informative orientation overview. Explore Bangkok, delving into the philosophy of Buddhism. End the day with a welcome meal of traditional Thai dishes and fun.

Day 3 - Transfer to the Beach

Enjoy breakfast before departing for Hua Hin via a scenic train journey. Check-in and savor lunch at your pool resort. Spend the afternoon in beach bliss and explore the night market.

Day 4 - Teach Workshops & Explore

Morning beach sunrise. Engage in two required 40-minute teaching workshops. Enjoy an open afternoon and evening with options for beach time, exploring the art village, and discovering the town.

Day 5 - Welcome Ceremony

Grab breakfast to go, followed by a teaching pep talk. Shuttle to Kui Buri for check-in and teaching. Participate in a Welcome Ceremony at the school. Engage in morning classes.

Day 6 - Teach & Tour

Savor a local breakfast and attend morning classes. Spend the afternoon authentically shopping at a rural market for an evening Thai cooking class with Thai teachers.

Day 7 - Teach & Tour

Breakfast and morning classes. In the afternoon, embark on a Sam Roi Yod hills and temple hike tour. Help in student course design, offering suggestions for Song, Story, or Speech exercises.

Day 8 - Teach & Tour

Enjoy breakfast and morning classes. Afternoon beach ecosystem tour in Sam Roi Yod and student course design for creative exercises. Evening field picnic with Thai teachers.

Day 9 - Teach & Wild Elephants

Celebrate with a breakfast closing ceremony and certificate presentations. Enjoy lunch and explore Kui Buri National Park, followed by an evening of Wild Elephant Watching. Return to Amara in Hua Hin for a special Teacher's Toast.

Day 10 - Farewell & Next steps

Conclude with a final morning beach sunrise walk. Join us for a Next Steps brunch, bid farewell, and embark on your onward journey.
